Programming and Learning
We nurture young minds and hearts through our comprehensive programming that is designed to provide a safe, stimulating, and a supportive environment for children to grow and thrive. Our dedicated and experienced staff work closely with families to ensure each child receives personalized care and attention, fostering a love of learning and exploration.
As part of providing a quality program, we are following the regulations of the Child Care and Early Years Act 2014. How Does Learning Happen? Ontario’s Pedagogy for the Early Years 2014 (HDLH) is used as a guideline for licensed childcare programs. HDLH views children as competent, capable, curious and rich in potential. The foundations of learning are belonging, well-being, engagement and expression. This approach allows the children to take lead in their own learning journey and is why you won’t see a program agenda or schedule.
Open-ended materials allow for unlimited creative possibilities and do not prescribe specific outcomes or instructions. They encourage curiosity and exploration, promoting a natural inclination to learn about the properties and possibilities of various materials, while nourishing creative and innovative thinking.
